About Belinda Yan

Belinda founded Presidio Search Group in 2014 and has worked with investment management clients for more than twenty-five years. She has fifteen years of experience leading executive search engagements for endowments, foundations, private equity and venture capital firms, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, fund of funds and hedge funds. Belinda’s technical expertise spans all areas of investment management with a focus on investment and investor relations searches across all levels.

Belinda was most recently a senior member of the Jamesbeck Global Partners team in San Francisco.  Previously, she spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch & Co. which she joined via the acquisition of Smith New Court, PLC in 1995. Belinda was a Director of U.S. Institutional Equity Sales in Merrill Lynch's San Francisco office and a Director of International Equity Sales Trading in New York. 
 
Belinda received her B.A. in Economics from The University of Michigan in 1991. She is a Certified PRINT® coach  and is a Board Member at Dress for Success San Francisco.
